Maybe you dont realise this though. Its not the money. The more votes a post gets regardless of value means the higher up in the hot category it goes. Which can be quite important when a post is first made?

The more votes the more attention a post gets even if the votes are worthless? I always have my breath taken away when people try and come up with frankly bullshit reasons not to vote .
