Good Afternoon fellow steemians. I just want to share with you about Pichi Pichi in Cebu it taste good and you really want to look for it again if you can taste it.

Yesterday I was craving for pichi pichi that why I buy it for only 150 (30 pieces)
Pichi Pichi is a Filipino dessert made from CASAVA also known as Kamonteng Kahoy in cebuano. Pichi Pichi is very famous here in cebu. They had also called Cassava Cake also made with kamonteng kahoy.
As what I observed the best version I love much is DON BENITO. I just can't stop munching their Cheesy Pichi pichi.
CHEESY PICHI PICHI GUIDE
Ingridients:
2 cups grated cassava
1 cup og sugar
2 cups of water
4 drops of pandan essence
1 tablespoon of water (lihiya)
1 cup of grated cheese for toppings
Instruction
You need to combined the grated cassava, sugar, water and pandan essence. And you will add lye water while you are doing mixing everything of the ingredients.
If you have a container for pichi2 just put it by individual. After that you need to steam for atleast 40 minutes or until the mixture becomes translucent. Remember, don't forget to put a cloth (anything) on top of your steamer before you will placing the pot cover to prevent water drippings on your pichi2.
After 40 minutes of steaming. Get a forkto test and check if it is really cooked.
After the long minutes of awaited. Remove from the steamer and let the temperature cool down. Once it is cooled remove it from the molds snd put the cheese for topping and for having a good plating.
