| On downvotes generally: in law there are the maxims "in dubio pro reo" ("when in doubt, rule for the accused") and "innocent until proven guilty (wiki). Unfortunately here on Hive, there are some downvoters who reverse these principles and just downvote without any audit for wrongdoing. If the victim of the downvote wants to contest the downvote, he/she must address the downvoters via discord. How can we remedy such an abuse? | Zu Downvotes im Allgemeinen: Im Recht gibt es die Maximen "in dubio pro reo" ("im Zweifel für den Angeklagten") und "unschuldig bis zum Beweis der Schuld" (wiki). Leider gibt es hier auf Hive einige Downvoters, die diese Grundsätze in ihr Gegenteil verkehren und ohne Prüfung des Fehlverhaltens einfach downvoten. Wenn das Opfer eines Downvotes diesen anfechten möchte, muss er/sie sich über Discord an die Downvoter wenden.
