A simple trick to store food items and grains in their packaging if you run out of containers. Wafer packets that are half eaten, leftover grains that do not fit completely in the containers, family pack Instant noodles that are used one or two at a time.. All these can be sealed in an airtight manner by using old bottle tops.

Take a used plastic bottle and sharp scissors.

Wash and dry the bottle.

Using the scissors, make a puncture about 1-2″ from the ring.

Slide the scissor in into the puncture and cut it out in a circular manner to remove the top of the bottle.

Cut the top of the plastic bag containing the food item and straighten the ends.

Gather the folds and insert the ring, and pull up the ends creating a neck.

Fold the plastic over the edges of the bottle.

Seal the cap tight.

Your bag now has an air and water tight seal.
