I thought I'd just mention my perspective on it. It's a personal choice that will depend on each individual. My choice right now is to avoid alcohol completely. While I'm eating a keto/carnivore diet, I do not tolerate alcohol well at all. My tolerance is extremely low, and it's even made me vomit a couple of times, which it never did in the past. Not since I was a teenager, anyway.
