这个要塞其实与大卫王没有任何关系，但考古发现证明这是希律王的宫殿。这是圣经中所提到的希律王，耶稣是希律王统治时期出生的。他也被称为大希律王，因为他的儿子们接着统治，他的儿子也是叫希律王啊。

This fortress does not has anything to do with King David, however the archaeological findings proof that this was King Herod's Palace. This is the Herod mention in the Bible, Jesus was born during Herod's rule. He was also known as Herod the Great, because his sons ruled after him and his sons name were Herod too.
