This is an Akan cuisine called "Fufu". It is made from a mixture of cooked cassava and plantain/cocoyam. They are initially pounded seperately to form a dough and then the added together thereafter.
Locally, the instruments used in the process is a mortar and pistil.
Fufu is generally eaten with soup by most Ghanians.
It is one of the favorite Akan cuisines preferred by many.
