This is the best coconut shrimp recipe I’ve tried and you won’t believe how easy it is! This crunchy coconut shrimp is baked instead of fried, and so easy! Great for dinner or as an appetizer. The shrimp are sweet and juicy, while the coconut crust is crispy – without being greasy. Serve this coconut shrimp to guests this summer and I guarantee they will be the first thing to go.
Ingredients :
1 egg
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp breadcrumbs
3 tbsp shredded coconut
Fresh parsley
cooking spray
1 cup OR 200 gr of shrimps
Directions
Step 1 : Preheat your oven to 200 C or 400 F.
Step 2 : In a bowl combine all your dry ingredient and finely chopped parsley.
Step 3 : Whisk your egg in a separate bowl
Step 4 : Prepare a baking dish, cover in parchment paper and spray so it doesn't stick.
Step 5 : Dip your prawns into the egg and then dry mixture and repeat until all done.
Step 6 : Bake them for 8-10 min until nice and crisp. Enjoy with salad!
