Indulge in a to-die-for dessert that’s made with just four ingredients. This light and delicious chocolate mousse is so tasty and easy to make. I make this recipe for the holidays. I use high-quality chocolate. You can use milk or semi sweet chocolate. Serve this simple chocolate mousse in a glass for a fancy presentation.
Ingredients :
20 gr OR 4-5 tbsp of unsalted butter
1/2 cup OR 120 gr dark chocolate
1/3 cup OR 70 gr of caster sugar
4 eggs separated
Directions
Step 1 : Separate your egg whites from your egg whites.
Step 2 : Melt your dark chocolate with butter in a microwave or over double boiler
Step 3 : Whisk your eggs with 2/3 of your sugar until nice and pale ( about 5 min)
Step 4 : Whisk your egg whites until soft peaks and slowly add the remaining 1/3 sugar until soft peaks.
Step 5 : Once your chocolate has cooled down a little, add small amounts into your egg yolks mixture and fold it in. Do it until all chocolate is gone. Then lightly fold in your egg whites slowly and repeat the process until all mixed in.
Step 6 : Place your chocolate mousse mixture into a piping bag and fill your pots with them 2/3 of the way. Place into the fridge for at least 30-60 min.
Step 7 : Decorate your chocolate mousse pots with strawberries and more chocolate. Enjoy!
