This is a beautiful spinach and strawberry smoothie. A detox smoothie for an after workout snack or as breakfast before rushing out the door. Each serving is packed with an incredible full cup of this nutritional powerhouse, the sweetness of fresh strawberries and banana is front and centre in this deliciously drinkable treat. I know, it’s probably not the most appetizing looking smoothie. I really tried to make it look as appealing as I could. However, don’t let the color of it deter you from making this amazing, refreshing, and healthy smoothie. When I took a sip I was so surprised that it was perfectly sweet and delicious and I couldn’t detect any flavor of spinach in it at all!
Ingredients :
1 banana
2 cups of strawberries
1 tsp of cinnamon
8 gr or 5tbsp of ginger
3 dates
2 handfulls of spinach
1 tsp of chia seeds
Directions
Step 1: Add 1 cup / 250 ml of water into your blender.
Step 2 : Add your banana, strawberries, ginger, cinnamon, dates and spinach and blend.
Step 3 : Serve cold with some chia seeds sprinkled on top.
