Is Social Media Toxic?

Day 257:

'Social Media is superficial.'
'Social Media is fake.'
'Social Media is toxic.'

These are all things we've heard of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, youtube, the list keeps going.

But is social media actually toxic?

As I keep making videos and constantly connecting with new people everyday, I just can't fall for the hype that social media is toxic, fake, superficial. One of my favorite role models, Gary Vaynerchuk says it best:

'Technology is not undermining real human interactions. Instead, it is exposing people for who they really are.'

Today's Mindful Minute is an example of what social media can do if we decide to take action.
