Hey YA'll!
Today I made some delicious soup...I guess I should have made a video on that. It's something I make maybe once a month, so I know what I'm doing. BUT I wanted some yummy rolls to go with it. What I failed to realize is that my active yeast wasn't so active! I'm going to have to throw out a lot of yeast. I think I'll go back to the small packages...utter failure here. My family ate them like they were delicious and said they were delicious...I only wish they would have turned out like I wanted. Try Try again right?!
1 Hour Rolls
2 TBS Butter and 1 cup warm water in pan on low heat.
Add 2 TBS honey and 1/2 cup milk
One it's hot to the touch, pour it in mixer with hook attachment.
Add 1 TBS ACTIVE (key word) Dry Yeast
Let sit 5ish minutes
Add 3 1/2 cups flour and 1 tsp salt
Mix on low for 5ish minutes
Put in greased bowl with wet towel on top for 15 min
Roll into 15 balls and place in greased 9x13 pan and let rise 15 more minutes
Bake for 15 min in 400F oven.
I hope it works better for you! I'll be trying this again! It was easy, but I obviously need some new yeast!
