This will most likely be one for the books. The first ever Easter weekend where the world is in lock-down. Who thought we'd ever see the day when the entire world unites to fight a common enemy?
There's the good and ugly of this of course, our goal right now should be to focus on the positive though.
Easter 2020 doesn't have to be cancelled, there's still a lot of ways we can celebrate it indoors, and hold onto this tradition most of us have practiced our entire lives.
I personally kick started the Easter Weekend by opening this bottle of red over dinner, because wine is one of my fave things in the entire world. I think this is pretty obvious by now for those that have been following me long enough.
Also hard some home-made sushi, tortilla and a salad. My bad, forgot to capture that but it was super delicious. Food is one of the thins I'm also finding comfort in in this dull moments.
I don't know how you guys are planning on celebrating Easter this year, perhaps you can share with me down below, but personally we are having the annual Easter eggs house in the household I'm at. That will be on Sunday. Tomorrow we might have some Bbq, more drinks and outdoor games.
It's better than nothing if you ask me. It's rather unfortunate we cannot have people over, because that would make for the perfect Easter, but we do what we must to keep safe, just as we hope everyone else is.
ION, remember those Easter Eggs we did a couple of weeks ago? I think they will come in handy to create that Easter vibe. We set them up like this around the dining table. They came out pretty good if I do say so myself.
In this moments, it's the little things that really count. Do whatever you must to survive this pandemic/quarantine, whatever makes you feel good, as long as it's not harming anyone, I say go for it.
I think we all did a pretty good job with the eggs, they came out great and still holding on. Something I hope you guys have also enjoyed doing.
Do you have any indoors Easter Weekend plans? Do share with me below. All in all, this post was to wish you guys a fantastic Easter Weekend, have a blast and make it one for the books, just as Covid19 will be.
With Love!
SEE YOU ON THE NEXT POST!!
