We are really fortunate to be just 5 minutes walk away from a beautiful Waldorf school, Los Doce Olivos, nestled in the mountains of Andalucia.
The school is situated in a lush meadow with 12 ancient olive trees. The children are currently being taught in temporary cabins while the relevant legal documents for a new building are being approved by the authorities.
The construction of this building is an exciting challenge in terms of bioconstruction, and is designed to be built with ecological and traditional materials of the place such as wood, stone, straw and mud trying through them, forming spaces that are ecomonic and quick to build as well as easy to maintain.
There is currently a crowdfunding page to raise funds to start building the first section of the primary block.
