Once again I am sharing a quote that I find to be quite humorous. But, I have got to say, there is a lot of truth in this, somewhere, hidden behind the joke!
What do I mean? And what is the message that I would like to share with you based on this quote from Sam Levenson?
Of course, we all want to go up (heaven) when we die and not down (hell). That is the basis of the quote and the joke itself. But, what I would like to say is that you shouldn't wait until you are dying in an elevator to make the important decisions in your life!

You shouldn't wait until you are dying in an elevator to make the important decisions in your life!
This is really what I would like to share with your right now. Don't wait until you are dying to make decisions that will influence where you will spend eternity. Don't wait until you are dying to decide that you want to eat healthier and that you would like to spend more time with your family.
No, start living your life in the right way today!
Don't wait until it is too late... Start today!
From a conversation with my wife...
Not long ago we discussed the topic of diabetes with my wife. I told her that I cannot understand how people with high blood sugar will just keep on living like before when we know that it is a slow killer! I told her that I would for sure change my lifestyle if I would see that I was in danger of getting Diabetes.
Then we went quiet for some seconds...
Suddenly I got a revelation... Why should I wait until I get in trouble with changing my diet and what I eat and how much I move? Wouldn't it be much wiser to make the necessary changes today, in order never to have to struggle with it at all?
I felt so stupid, but it is so true... and my wife agreed!
But still, most of us just wait until we are about to die or until we get sick, and that is when we suddenly decide that we would like to change everything (even though it can often be too late at that point).
Make the necessary changes today!
So, make those necessary changes today... you will not regret it! And yes, I am speaking to myself as well right now!
