No matter how much I want it to...
time flies! Ba dum tsssss..... ohhh man...
Sometimes it feels like it's a little bit difficult to keep up with how fast things tend to move, but that's life I suppose. I'm sure many of you out there are finding the same thing. Wondering where all your time went. Probably to the TV, or work, or Steemit/busy/steempeak/steemmonsters...
Who knows! It doesn't matter at the end of the day, so long as you're happy with how you've spent your time. Over here in -land, we had a relatively productive weekend! We finally fixed a couple of the site bugs that were causing some interruptions to users -- specifically, the need to log-out & log-in to the site to get a fresh SteemConnect access-token. But no more! To summarize the last couple tweaks:
- Updated to a new SteemConnect Django library;
- Fixed the mis-calculating leaderboard due to recent changes to the database;
- Implemented a 15 minute delay to the
auto-voter;
- Question to the crowd -- if runners pages had a button to "Automatically vote on activities from this runner" (shorter description still required), would you use that function? I could set it to have custom delays and vote weights, similar to SteemAuto... Let me know your thoughts;
- Did some serious brainstorming for the next couple updates / cleanups / features I'd like to flesh out;
- Achievements/Market-place for used equipment/Training calendars/Marketplace for coaching;
Generally, I did a lot of sitting in front of the laptop when it was raining outside, but I didn't get to go running!
(I actually did play a bit of squash on Friday -- but it was the first time in a while, and all my racket swinging muscles are sore now :( ) -- enough about me though!
What about you! What did all of you tireless wonders in the Exhaust-o-verse get up to over the weekend! I know a couple of ya got PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAID:
On a personal note -- I'm trying to find some inspiration to keep running over the colder and wetter months over here... I'm pretty certain that I'm going to try to sign up for the Vancouver Island Race Series. I know there's at least a few VI runners out here (,
,
-- you're close enough...) -- and I encourage you to join me in an effort to stay active.
