It was such a long journey home after a fierce battle on the mountain. An Army of ants trudged through the hot Sahara, dragging along the late mighty gecko; that long threatened them to the teeth for a decade and a quarter; as they journeyed through the sunset.

Victory! Victory! Victory! chanted the king and his queens, the maidens of the land and the children as the mighty soldiers laid the lifeless body of their chief enemy to the ground before their king. The gecko had caused untold pain and suffering to the community, eating up sons and daughters in their numbers. What a relief! Victory at last! But it did'nt come easy.

Everyone rejoiced at the victory that non recalled the pains the gecko had caused all along. They danced, ate and drank all night. Oh! how quickly their pains varnished.

And such is life. When we succeed after so much struggle, we forget the pains of past failure. Indeed, true victory wipes the pain of defeat, yes, the pain of failure. Don't give up, keep pressing on to success.
