Similar situation over here but the school he was in kept doing things that just felt 'wrong' and I later learned they were breaking so many laws. They were overly aggressive with him and restrained him on several occasions without documenting it. We had to take him out of that school for his emotional and physical safety but I would like him to return to school next year. He's getting so used to being home though so it will be challenging if I want him to return! I will look into CBT, I'm not familiar with that. I have to say I am thankful to have connected with you here - It is very comforting to have someone to talk to about this! The fighting for his rights is tough and tiring at times, but worth every ounce of energy and time!
