Hey everyone. This will be a quick fantasy football draft update on some injured players that you may want to take note of if you are still drafting this week, or need to set up your line ups for week 1. 1st on the list Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns. Gordon has great potential once he is on the field, but the big problem with Gordon is getting him on the field. He has a some problems off of the field that caused him to miss games in the past, and now he is looking at a hamstring injury. The Brown's head coach also stated, that even if Gordon was 100 percent healthy, he will still not be labeled as a the starting wide receiver. You may want to bench Gordon for week 1 or adjust his rankings a bit lower if you drafting due to the fact that he may miss week 1 or may play limited snaps.
Next up is LeSean McCoy from the running back from the Buffalo Bills. McCoy is currently dealing with a groin injury and a potential suspension. He even missed practice on Monday to rest his injury. There are rumors stating that he may not be ready for week 1. His suspension rumor has been quiet of late, but if he does get suspended it will probably be around 6 games, similar to Ezekiel Elliot last year from the Dallas Cowboys. McCoy is also getting older in terms of age for running backs. You may want to avoid McCoy or at least drop him down some ranking positions.
And finally we have Sony Michel the RB from the New England Patriots. Michel has a knee injury and might miss week 1. If Michel misses time, it may take him some time to get adjusted to his new team, so the Pats may start slowly with him early in the season. Michel also has to compete against Burkhead and White at the RB position. Michel may be someone to avoid early in the season, but keep in the back of your mind for the second half of the season. If you have a deep bench, you can consider stashing him away to see if he pans out.
Well that is all for now. Hopefully you guys do well in your draft and upcoming fantasy football season. I will see you again soon...
