My old man just got back from a fishing trip. This one is deep. As deep as this Salmon swum before my old man reeled him up from the depths of Lake Michigan. Right off the coast of Port Washington, Wisconsin to be precise.
Shout out to for getting this Global knife. I love mine!
I didn't know it at the time that I was going to have to de-bone this filet, but so be it. I inevitably took off a few chunks of flesh, but every bone was accounted for, which made for safe and easy eating. 5 portions were divvied up and then seasoned and doused with fresh lime juice.
I love to grill, and even with a little bit of rain, I was not going to be deterred. This Salmon was going to meet the flame come hell or high water.
The wife finally filled up the kiddie pool for the first time this summer and the kids had a blast today. I'd say it quite an eyesore, but it's the price ya pay for your kids enjoyment.
Let's get a close-up of that sweet Salmon-ey goodness!!!
Ya can't just have a massive delicious Salmon filet though (okay, you can, but for the sake of the post, just go with it). Ya gotta have some asparagus and rice to tie it all together.
The main course.
And a sloppy, yet fancily put together second serving.
I'm in Salmon heaven and ready for bed. Happy #fff y'all, I'm stuffed.
