Being Human
“Egg, dairy, fish or meat,
Ice-cream, dessert or some sweet?
What would you love to eat?”
Asked my hostess, for the treat.
“Eating all these is so inhumane,
I can’t eat an innocent non-human,
Deep compassion, turned me vegan,
When it dawned on, I’m a human.”
