Hello! It's been a few days since I last posted here. Sorry I just got busy in our store. So to start again I want to share to you the new recipe that I learned.
This is Pork Hamonado. Hamonado is a Filipino dish consisting of meat marinated and cooked in a sweet pineapple sauce. It is a popular dish during Christmas in Philippine regions where pineapples are commonly grown. Hamonado is also a general term for savory dishes marinated or cooked with pineapple in the Philippines
I don't really know how to cook this and I don't always cook. Thanks but no thanks, because of this pandemic I learned how to cook. đ Who wouldn't be? We are all in our house and nothing to do. It's either you become a Chef, a baker, a gardener or farmer what ever you wanted to be. We have a lot of time because of this pandemic.
Mostly it has many ingredients. But while I was browsing in youtube I saw this tutorial and its very easy and budget friendly because it has only 4 ingredients!
So let's start!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of Pineapple Juice
1 kilo of pork tenderloin (neck and butt part) slice into serving portions.
6 tbp of brown sugar or white sugar. You can adjust in your own preference
1 1/2 tbp salt
Water
Procedure:
- Put the pork in a woke. Add the Pineapple Juice, sugar and salt. Marinate it for 1 to 2hours.
- After an hour or two. Open your stove and set it for meduim to high heat. Let it boil.
- When it's boiling. Set the heat for meduim to low heat. Cover and let it simmer.
- When the sauce is decreased. Check the pork if it's tender and water if necessary. Cover and continue cooking until it's tender.
- You can adjust the sugar.
See? Its very simple! This is my finish product.
Sorry for the low quality of the image. I'm not a photographer. In here I adjusted my ingredients depending on what is available in our stocks. I used 240ml Del Monte Pineapple Juice and not so color brown sugar (its called wash sugar in our country). But still the taste doesn't affect it! It's still tasty and my siblings loves it!
Anyway, I got the video tutorial from Mommy Choco in youtube. Her tutorial is very easy and anyone can follow it.
Thank you! I hope you will also like and love this recipe!
