Hello . You've made a great case for adding step work to ones training routine.
I'm a distance runner and although I've been in a bit of a rut when it comes to running lately I think I'll probably add some stair work once a week to my training plan for the next half marathon I do.
Much as I hate to admit it, I tend to run mostly on flat areas when I do run outside and I keep my treadmill flat when it's too hot to run outside bc I hate hills. However, when I do integrate a hill training run into my plan once a week I usually get great results. Looking forward to substituting stairs for hills. Sort of lol.
