For those of you who attended a session last week: any slot, with any of our trainers, will be familiar with the crunches that can remember Anguissola’s first name. Any of you got it in the right order, yet?
Not to worry, Renaissance female artists is a tricky muscle to firm up. It is part of a muscle group that can best be trained by getting dressed in red and black. Le Rouge et le Noir.
I'll wait until you've got your outfits on.
Don’t just wear black; and no cheating, leave the white for the Eva Longoria exercise class. Chop, chop. Show on the road. Black and red, can they even exist without eachother? That's right, pull your socks up. The small fry and big fish making up a window into the Great Chain of Being. It’s not a question of preference, anyone looks good in red, it brings out the heart’s desire. Match and layer up. Good. Everybody dressed?
Alrighty, then.
Warming up:
Let’s keep it very simple today, take it nice and slow, to set us up for the week to come. You can either stay on your thones or get down on your knees, listen to yourself, no body is the same, and we begin by pulling out our finger. Nice and long, big stretch, and retract. Let the sensation sink in and do the other side, out and hold it, bring it back in. Now for some chin ups: five times, 4, 3, tip the ceiling, 2, and 1. Now, let’s grease those elbows, with some big hugs all round. Keep it wide, all the way around, work it, and draw the brain in, puff the heart out, and squeeze nice and tight, don’t crush any ribs! And again, from the top the whole sequence: finger out-in; finger out-in; chins up, up, up, up again, one more, and get those arms around: make them really work, hold it, feel the burn, 2,3,4, and relax!. Come to rest and enjoy the results of all your work.
