Hello friends,
Vegan snacks are a great breakfast for me with seasonal vegetable flavors and the nutritious properties of semolina. This is actually a traditional breakfast available in South India. Also known as saline rice, the byproduct is often served with saffron rice and it is called chow chow rice.
To make Upma, the semolina is first baked, then mixed with all the vegetables and cooked. In the recipe carrots, shimla peppers and green peas are added to make the Upma more tasty and healthy. Although Upma is often served at breakfast, you can also eat it occasionally at dinner if you wish. The dish does not contain much of cooking oil.
Thanks for being here and have a great day !
