Achenesse noodle has been broadly known as the spicy dish that is generally found in Aceh, and in some part of Indonesia regencies. In coffee shop, this kind of food is a must. This noodle is also making up with variety of side dishes, such as, shrimp, oyster, meat, crab even fish. Well! This time, I paid closely attention to the noodle chef in making this dish and I took couple shot of the process of Aceh's Tradional Noodle with shrimp that will be happily called as foodphotography.
I was lucky to have a chance to sneak the noodle maker, and attempted to see the process. Frankly, I dont know much about the recipe of this food at general, but I can tell you that the recipe is simple and cheap. All of the recipes are mixed up with noodle until it met one's flavor.
In coffee shop, the noodle maker use the wide-mouthed pot that was typically designed for cooking noodle. For local people, this kind of noodle is generally consumed as the main course or specifically regarded as spicy-heavy food. It is not really recommended to stomachache sufferers, in case you are dying to taste, hehe.
This traditional dish also has some types of order, dried noodle, boiled noodle and wet noodle. All of these type of orders hold different tastes, that is all about which one you like best.
Soon, we entered the coffee shop, we see the noodle rack placed on another side of shop. It is normally placed outside of shop that allows the costumers to have direct order. So, when the noodle done, I bet your mouth will be watered soon you spoon it up.
