It's another night and after attending an ICO or Initial Coin Offering presentation which I shall probably discuss on another post, it's another reason to feast.
I'm Asian Chinese but even this Chinese dinner raised my eyebrows on a few dishes, in a nice way. According to my friend who brought us there, it's Hunan cuisine.
Dinner is served.
Prawns with deep fried tea leaves. Yes, deep fried tea leaves... Yes, my first too ;)
Deep fried seabass with preserved vegetables, sort of like pickles.
Spicy wild mushrooms and fugus.
Spicy mushrooms and frog. Hahaha... Yes, Kermit ;)
Egg plant in salted egg sauce. Star of the night for me :)
Melon and pork ribs soup.
This was my first encounter with Hunan cuisine and although I feel they can do well with a little better presentation but then this could in fact be how it is supposed to be. Appearance aside, they really do taste very nice with lots of different textures and flavors that made the entire dinning experience on with lots of excitement and adventure for one's palate.
Yes, I over-ate again :)
We are all on a journey, remember to enjoy the sights and sounds along the way, and do good as often as you can and as much as possible.
