This easy yogurt bowl with homemade granola and yogurt is filled with all the healthy things you need to keep you fueled for a hot summer day. Though green smoothies remain our favorite breakfast, some mornings you need just a little bit more. That's when yogurt bowls come to play. But no worries, we'll have a green drink later, 'cause what a day without them.... yes we are that addicted to them and rarely let a day pass without one!

Ingredients (serves 2)
Homemade granola
1 cup uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats
½ cup raw unsalted mixed nuts, roughly chopped or whole
⅛ cup raw unsalted mixed seeds (or more nuts works too)
¼ cup unsweetened dried fruit chopped (optional)
¼ cup unsweetened desiccated coconut or coconut flakes
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil
FYI: this recipe makes more than you need tp make breakfast for 2, but it can be stored in an airtight container for a few weeks.
For the yogurt bowl
1 cup (homemade) plain unsweetened yogurt or coconut yogurt
2 cups watermelon, cubed
2/3 cup homemade granola

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 300° F (150°C).
- In a bowl, combine all granola ingredients, except dried fruits, and spread them in one single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. To make the granola extra crisp, grill last few minutes.
- Allow to cool and add dried fruits! Store in airtight container.
- Add watermelon to bowl. Top with yogurt and homemade granola.
