Ingredients.
- 3 lbs of crab.
- 150mls of beer.
- 1 ginger (very fine julienned).
- Celery (cut into 3 inches).
- Leek (cut into 3 inches).
- 2 lemongrass (cut into 2 inches).
- for dipping sauce: Salt, sugar, black pepper, fresh lime juice, chilli (optional).
Instructions.
- Rinse well the crab and remove inedible portions.
- Prepare with beer and heat over high heat.
- When beer is boilling, steam the crab with ginger, celery, leek and lemongrass for about 15 minutes or until the crab is totally pink.
- While crab is steaming, prepare the dipping sauce: Mix well salt, sugar, black pepper, chilli (optional) and fresh lime juice.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
