I've been on a diet for about a year, maybe 16 months now. Personally, I think it is going well. Some days, I feel great, and others, still good, but needing to keep at it. One thing about diets, is, clothes. Your old clothes? Doesn't quite fit well. And this time of year, I am reluctant to buy myself anything. Maybe the psot holiday sale,s but not for not yet.
For those following me, you know, I have a couple cats. One tiny little one and the younger one? Quite the Big Boy! And for those following you know, he likes the family, but clearly he's bonded with me. Follows me, sits on my lap, my shoulders, and basically, socializes.
He also craves attention when I am cooking. He wants to feed with us, eats socially and wants me to feed him, or at the least put food in his dish. Well, he's on a diet, too. Which means I feed him less.
One thing I will do, is take the cat food scoop, rattle it around in the food tub, and then, rattle it in his bowl... where he'll eat a tidbit or two.
Back to tonight, where I was making a baked chicken with Panko, Cinnamon, and some other spices. Also, some baked carrot, small potato, celery, onion and bell pepper, with Meyer lemon olive oil, and some cinnamon.
As I mentioned, Tucker wants attention... even while I am carrying things from kitchen to the dining table. Usually, I distract him with that scoop rattle thing. Tonight, it didnt seem to work...
While carrying the salad to the dining table, he sank his claws into my leg. In this order, I felt searing pain in my shin, I rapidly pulled leg back away, and I stepped backwards, perhaps a bit too shakily...
In the next instant, my sweat pants were dragged down, the salad tipped forward in my hands, little bluefy made an appearance, and was promptly covered in some goat cheese!
