We took Kendra to on her first visit to In-n-Out Burger, a cult favorite here on the west coast. Granted, she could not eat any of the food, but still an entry to put in her "firsts" for us, as we are fans of the burger joint.
If you aren't familiar, In-n-Out is a fairly straightforward burger fast-food restaurant that focuses on doing a few things well and quick. Their menu is small, but they have a few "secrets" that, if you know about them, you can order despite it not being on the menu. The draw is the speed and freshness - none of their food is ever frozen before it is served, so your always have fresh beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, etc. Due to the freshness and small menu, the taste and quality is consistent across their locations.
Jacob loved his burger and fries. As we were eating, we thought a chocolate milkshake also sounded good, so we got one of those at the end of the meal and Jacob liked dipping his fries in the shake! Ha!
When the kids are this young, there are lots of firsts, but I still seem to enjoy so many of them!
Hope everyone has a great week,
Brian
