We are celebrating life as long as we have him with us and he wanted to eat fish. In the Netherlands, Scheveningen is than the place to be. Its a real family business with a huge love for fish. Generation on generation they fished themselves and now own their two fabulous restaurants . And being part of a family business for generations is the best way for us. The fourth generation just as with us is serving the fish right now. It is the Simonis family in blood, it flows through the veins. What started as an eel smoker at the end of the 19th century has grown to several locations in the area of fish. Catch is a unique fish restaurant where love of fish and offering top quality are the most important indicators of success. Our restaurant is spread over four floors with space for up to 500 guests, on the top floor we have a wonderful terrace with sun all day. People can come to us for a lunch, dinner, drink or event. For us, Catch is about more than just top quality food and drink, we also focus primarily on service and experience. A night out.
The menu is mostly fish, fresh catch of the day or meat. There is also the option to eat sushi. For the kids there is a separate menu with all off the adults menu in small portions. A very good idea cause the boys love to have similar things as what we have to eat.
The car parking opposit off the restaurant was great to enter and alot of space, near the beach a great thing.
And because we ate at the restaurant a discount was available.
The restaurant has Nice staff all dressed in black and white outfits with a long apron. Linnen tal eclatante and linnen napkins.
Prices were between € 40-60 euro’s depending on what you had, lobster is more expensive than salmon, plaice or turbot. Sushi too, but for every price there is great dish. The 4.5 stars they have on tripadvisor is deserved.
We had a great evening, we Made photos and Made memories. Time is off the essence at the moment, or Well time is of the essence always, but we just dont take the time. Let me tell you do it NOW Life us to short.
