While musing on how to celebrate STEEM price my girlfriend suggested we go for a pizza. You must be joking, I thought to myself.
She is always quite adamant on ‘healthy’ food and white dough doesn’t fit the description.
Still, what we got blew our minds! We heard only good stuff about Rougemarin Restaurant and it did not fail to deliver. This amount of greens and fresh mozzarella sprinkled with olive oil is not the worst you can do.
They are also known for gourmet-style burgers! There is a weekly special.
Day was perfect for eating outside on a terrace. We were not the only one who got the same idea so you might have to wait for a few minutes for a table to clear.
On this May 2017 they sure know how to prepare the most delicious food! Would it be pretentious if I said the best in town? To be fair, most things on the menu are off limits for me since I am a vegetarian but the spices and names they use sound out-of-this-world.
Beer menu is not that special but there is Varionica stout which I recommend if you find yourself there. Mid range quality Croatian craft.
Prices are very affordable in relation to the quality. 80 kuna (11.77$) for a pizza which is meant to be eaten by two people sounds more than fair. Beer is decent, too.
Plenty of waiters on a busy day will make sure you do not have to wait. They were not especially enthusiastic about me taking photos, but you can not blame them. They did not realise it was for a good cause! :D
Pizza is made in Sicilian style. It looks like a mound of joy to me!
The dessert was a dark chocolate cake. Maybe it could use more cocoa-like bitterness but if you are a sugar-junkie this will make you really happy!
