On a cold Sunday April 15th, me and Alexis went to downtown Louisville to enjoy the '2018 Louisville Taco Festival'. At this festival, there were around twenty Taco vendors. There were a bunch of tacos to eat but me and Alexis enjoyed all of these delicious tacos from these wonderful vendors.
None of the Tacos were bad. Most were very good however, two of the vendors stood out to me : Merle's Whiskey Kitchen, and Corto Lima
Corto Lima
Corto Lima featured Cauliflower and Smoked Pork Tacos at the festival. I tried the smoked pork taco, which was very tasty. I was hesitant to try the cauliflower taco, but the Corto Lima cauliflower tacos were rather delicious. Corto Lima is located in Lexington, Kentucky. I would suggest visiting this restaurant and enjoying a cauliflower taco.
Merle's Whiskey Kitchen
Merle's Whiskey Kitchen had the best taco at the taco festival, and probably the best taco I have ever eaten. They had a Green Chile Pork taco which was both beautiful and tasty. The taco was a good mix of sweet and salty with a tang from the chili sauce and a bold taste from the curated pork.
