So here I am with all I need for a duck gourmet dinner and of course my hubby said he won't eat it so I call my new neighbor and ask her if she wants to come over and eat duck she says she's never had it but she'll try it, so yay getting off to a good start with I hope someone who will be my friend.
She came over to watch me cook and my hubby was watching also and I felt like I was in chef Ramseys kitchen because I was crazy chopping dicing frying boiling making a glaze, a sauce duck reduction it was crazy! It was so much fun and they were making jokes at me
I was grinding the blood orange to use for a glaze
Boiling the baby potatoes and draining and adding duck reduction and rosemary mustard seed and fresh garlic to the potatoes and putting the glaze on the duck in the frying pan
It smelled heavenly in my kitchen
And here is my new friend Becky who is now a duck lover and asked when will I be inviting her over again lol
My husband tasted a bite of everything on my plate and he decided that he loved it! Well I only had enough for two so,, sorry! He missed out lol
