Winter is knocking on the door and lots of fruits and green vegetables are started to come in the market. Sweet potatoes are my one of the most favourite in this season. Lots of health benefits and calorie rich make it a perfect food in the winter season.
Sweet potatoes have lots of health benefits including helpful in weight loss, disease-preventing, cancer-fighting, and immune-boosting benefits. It is one of the most versatile and healthful vegetables available and called superfood also.
Here I prepared Sweet Potato Chaat Chaat is an Indian sweet, sour and spicy recipe prepared in so many different ways.**
Ingredients
- Sweet potatoes 1/2 kg
- Pineapple slices 5-6 nos
- Pomegranate seeds 2 tbsp
- Olive oil 1 tsp
- Chaat masala ( It is a special mix of spices)
- Rock salt according to taste
- Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice as required
Procedure
- Wash, peel and cut sweet potatoes into small pieces.
- In a baking tray coat with olive oil.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until cooked properly.
- Grill pineapple slices on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Mix all spices in baked potatoes and decorate with grilled pineapple and pomegranate seeds.
- Squeeze lemon juice and serve.
