How often have you been asked to do something you weren't able to do? This is the story of my Uncle and how a question just like that changed his life.
Things were different 20 years ago. Ray did not start out pursuing this. He was working for a chef and was asked if he could do this kind of work, he said he couldn't and was promptly informed he was fired. Without skipping a beat he said to ask him again, and this time, absolutely, yes I can. Wow, was he right.
Since then he has gone on to teach across the country, had his work on television and movies, he is a member of the National Ice Carving Association, and he has helped created fruit carvings at the White House. He also was a member of the winning team on the Food Network's "The Rematch: Fantasy Fruit Sculpture" and assistant chef on the Food Network's "Sugar Dome."
I hadn't seen as much of his work as I have putting this together. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
and I have not had follow up from him. As such all the steemdollars this post generates will go to him, and I am all ears about what would be fair for the steempower generated.
Currently, aside from facebook and twitter, this is his site to promote his work. Let's show him where talent is welcome shall we?
