Howdy John, love a good hanger steak. Short story for y'all:
I was at the farmer's market yesterday. One of the vendors selling sauer kraut and kimchi among other fermented foods mentioned he had a friend doing carnivore.
We chatted and I mentioned that all the research says that an all meat diet is hard on your body. However, there's no denying that it seems to be working for you two.
The farmer/vendor guy had a good point. There are certain things that you would be eating if you had actually run down and killed the animal, that you wouldn't get out of straight cooking bought meat.
If you're going to supplement with anything, you might look into how to add fermented foods to your diet.
This would, theoretically, increase your digestive power, thus allowing your body to absorb more nutrients.
Fermented food is practically carnivore-veggies, seeing how the main ingredient is lots and lots of beneficial bacteria :D
