Hey everyone, I am not too sure it can get much better than this can it? Other than maybe smoking a fat blunt on the White House roof with Willy Nelson and a few super hot models of course ;P
Vegetable gardening really is incredibly rewarding, the best part is the power it has in terms of been off grid and food security, not to mention the cost savings and health investment and rewards!
I pretty much harvest from this garden daily now and do everything from salads to stews to steamed vegetables and more.
One of my recent favourites is cutting garlic and onion leaves then chopping them and mixing them up in a sour cream sauce, what a magnificent addition to everything from chicken, beef to potatoes and fish. Incredibly delicious indeed coupled with the double bonus of been able to harvest the bulbs in spring. I feel that onions and garlic are two vegetables that an absolute must in all gardens all year round! They really are the gift that keeps on giving!
Here I harvested Kale, Lettuce, Spinach, Chinese Cabbage, Garlic and Onion leaves.
All cooked and ready to eat, what a fantastic meal it was.
I hope this inspires you to start taking the steps in the right direction to becoming more self sustaining, healthier and off grid.
Have a super week further..
Cheer$;)
