Hello my lovely friends of steemit! Today I will share the famous Moroccan cake recipe named corn du gazelle, just I made it today with another kind of Moroccan sweets, because she saw my cake of eid and she likes them so much , that why she ordered them for her engagement.
INGREDIENTS:
almond paste:
- 500 g of almonds
- 250 g sugar
- Arabic gums
- 2 tablespoon of melted butter
- 1 tablespoon of clucose
- 2 tablespoon of water blossom
DIRECTION:
- poor the boiled water on almonds, let it set for 10 minutes, then peel it, let it dry for one night to dry.
- crush it first time without sugar, then add sugar little by little, until you get sticky texture, and add the Arabic gums.
- add the water blossom + butter, collect the paste well, and form big ball.
INGREDIENTS:
preparation of the dough
- 700g of flour
- 2 tablespoon of icing sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup of butter and oil mix
- 1/2 cup of water blossom
- whole egg
- water for collect the dough
DIRECTION:
- mix the flour with all the ingredients above, until you get a soft dough, then let’s it set for one night in fridge.
-spread the dough with roller pin, until you get a fine pastry, then put the almonds paste , and roll it on , and form it with your hand to fornm the corn.
When you form it , cut it with roller.
And you have to let it set for one night for dry
Voila the Moroccan corn du gazelle is ready !!
