So to make this Moroccan hat cake you need:
INGREDIENTS:
for prepare the dough
- 500 g of flour
- 125 g of melted butter
- 1 tablespoon of icing sugar
- half cup of water blossoms
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of water
Mix all the ingredients well and add the water little by little until you get a soft texture.
- let the dough set for one night then you can form it .
for prepare the almonds paste:
You need: - 500 g almonds peeled and crushed
- Arabic gums
- 250 g of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of water blossom
- 1 tablespoon of abricot jam
- crush the peeled almonds well and mix the icing sugar with it and the Arabic gums and abricot jam , put little water blossom for flavor.
- mix all until you get a sticky texture.
- form the dough is you see in the picture to get these hate.
- you can colorize these hats with any color you like, me i used the pink to decorate them.
