During our weekend in the Ardennes, we went to this awesome little restaurant to have cheese fondue and stone grilled steaks. We enjoyed our dinner that much that we decided to go back the next evening, instead of going for Greek food.
The Restaurant
Côté Montagne is a small family-run restaurant in the center of Francorchamps, close to the famous F1 circuit. They're only open during winter time, from December 1st till March 31st, so we were lucky that we went on holiday at the right time. The place had a very cozy feel to it and the fact that the patrons were very welcoming only added to that experience.
The Food
I ordered the stone grill with steak while my girlfriend went for cheese fondue and a melted cheese dish called Vacherin Mont d'Or. The quality of the products used was excellent, the steak just melted in your mouth and the cheeses were divine. To top everything off, we ordered a delicious desert with raspberry sorbet and merengue.
