If you are a fitness lover and it is important for you to eat healthy, you know that tuna is always a good idea!
The most common tuna fish recipe out there is probably the tuna salad. It is super easy and quick to make delicious tuna salad.
Some quick facts about tuna:
- Canned tuna is an excellent source of many essential nutrients, such as omega - 3 fatty acids, high quality protein, selenium and Vitamin D.
- 100 grams of canned tuna contains little more than 100 calories of which it's 23% protein and less than 1% fat and 0 carbohydrates.
- Tuna is rich in all kinds of minerals, contains magnesium, selenium, calcium, zinc, potassium and manganese. The vitamins found in fresh tuna are B complexes, riboflavin, thiamine.
However, have in mind that it's recommended that you eat tuna not more than couple of times a week. Now, let's take a look at the recipe:

As already mentioned above, tuna salad is very easy to make. You need:
- 200gr tuna
- 1 cup of sweet corns
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 6 black olives, sliced to half
- 6 green olives, sliced to half
- 1 egg (optional)
- 100g of mixed salads
- ½ cup of feta cheese (optional)
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Instructions:
- Add all of the ingredients beside egg/cheese and spices in a bowl and mix them,
- Add salt, pepper and oil and mix again,
- Add the sliced egg or cheese.
As egg is optional, if you want to add it in the salad, you must boil it first, peel it off and allow it to cool.
