Hi guys,
Today I will write the 3rd post about Halloween party ideas, and share with you a recipe for Annabel Karamel's chocolate spider cookies. Kids will love it. It great for the Trick or Treat!
What is the Trick or Treat?
Trick or Treat - going from house to house in search of candy and other goodies - has been a popular Halloween tradition. Children are dressed in costumes.
What is the idea of this tradition?
If you don't give the kids candy, they will make a prank on you.
I'm not sure you want it. So prepare enough candy. These spider cookies are great for that.
They are scary and delicious. 😁
To prepare this spider cookies you need:
- 170 gr dark chocolate
- 170 gr butter
- 200 gr soft light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon sour cream
- 150 gr self raising flour
- 2 tablespoon cacao powder
- 85 gr milk chocolate
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Line two muffin tin with paper cases.
- Melt chocolate with butter and sugar.
- Whisk together the eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
- Stir this into the cooled chocolate.
- Add the flour, cacao powder and salt.
- Spoon into the paper cases, to about one-thirds full.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until the muffins have risen and are firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack
- Decorate muffins in the shape of spider
You can make these as muffins or cookies.
I am sure the kids will love them in both variations :)
P.S. To the parents of the kids you can serve Jack O'Latte which can find in my previous posts.
Enjoy people!
