CHICKEN IN WHITE WINE ROUX SAUCE
What is the Roux?
A roux is a cooked mixture of flour and fat of some kind. You can use traces of fat, butter or other types of fat. Roux is used as a base and thickener for food types that need a thick consistency and a substantial flavor.
I wanted to try one of my inventions and add white wine, because I must confess that the taste is second to none
Ingredient that we are going to use:
- Chicken breast cut into pieces
- Butter
- Wheat flour
- Salt and pepper to season
- A cup of white wine of your choice
