I told myself in the past that I would never never eat balut, a fertilized duck egg. Encouraged by fellow steemians ,
,
and
to give it a shot.
Yay I survived and it was good! Far from my expectations! hahah . My impression goes like I don't want to eat because it looks so yucky with all the feathers of the embryo and its form that doesn't look so attractive. I've learned from them that eating one comes in numbers. They said that balut #16 is the bestseller and mouth-watering, in addition, the embryo is still developing with this number so it doesn't look so unpleasant.
Currently, I am the urge to eat one could be for the seccond time? hmmm :P . So I decided to post and share my experienced! hahaha
Balut is one of the Philippine's street food. It is incubated for 14-21 days. Remember the higher the number, the more visible the fertilized duck egg is .
