I went an Italian Restaurant with my girlfriend last week. We celebrated our 4th year anniversery and i want to talk about that restaurant. First of all, place name was Da Mario Rıstorante& Pizzeria and this place located in Etiler/ Istanbul, place was so good and elite. It was small place and have 10-15 tables in it. Everyone was stylish.
This private and boutique restaurant have very high points and star in many food application. It is in top restaurant list of Istanbul, Turkey.
Aperitif Food
- Parmigiana di melanzane
Baked eggplant with monzzarella, tomato, basil and zucchine sauce. This dish served hot with parmigiana cheese, it was delicious. It taste also interesting because you get tomato taste and other indrigients taste at same time. Every centimeter of dish was equal to each other.
- Carpaccio di manzo con rucola e parmigiano
This is classic beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan cheese. The carpaccio's taste was normal but other ingredients were very fresh. For example olive oil and vinegars was produced exclusively for this restaurant. Also you can order olive oil and homemaded vinegar if you regular customer from this restaurant. After that we ordered main foods.
Main Food
- Linguine asparagi e tarfufo
This pasta cooked with asparagus and truffed linguine and cream. With parmesano cheese taste was great and intense. This dish also cooked hot, pasta boiled with water and oil. You can taste fresh olive oil from spaghetti and ofcourse pasta was handmaded by them.
- Filetto di manzo
Grilled beef tenderloin with porcini, celery root and baby vegetables. Beef was grilled medium-rare and vegetables were very fresh. They may be even harvested few hours ago. The porcini and sauce was intense and good, even their black pepper taste was so fresh and fragrant.
Special Vines for Da Marior Ristorante
This restaurant also have huge reputation about vines. As you can see vine menu, they win three times award. Awards of excellence is hard to get.
