I started by lighting the charcoal. After about 15 minutes I closed the lid. The lower valve and the upper were reasonably closed. The temperature did not go high enough, so I opened all the valves .
Now the temperature went up very quickly. Actually too high. Above 250°C.
Now I know that the bottom valve is meant to set the max temperature and the upper one to regulate the temperature to almost the right temperature.
In the end I managed to regulate the temperature correctly.
I put in the bread for about 45 min. With a temperature of 230 °C.
If I see the result I'm happy I did it.
It is easier than I thought. Just practice with all kinds of meat and fish and it will work.
If I can do it everyone can !!
My next attempt will be a rack of lamb.
