I decided after spending a fortune at my local Tropical Smoothie that it was time to learn how to make my own Chia Max Smoothie! Here is how:
Cut up a frozen banana and add to the blender.
Add 1/4 cup Almond Milk
Cut up and add a few strawberries.
Sprinkle on 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
These add antioxidants for good health.
Speaking of healthy, don’t forget 1/4 cup coconut.
Mmmm. Now, we’re talking...
Next up, let’s add almonds,
Bulk up with some grains. I add a 1/4 cup of oats and cream of wheat.
Next, flavor with honey.
And, of course, load on the protein. I use peanut butter but some people also add a powdered protein supplement here, too.
Now, just top it off with the secret ingredient: water!
This combo is ready to blend.
