Hi Friends.... These are Brahmi leaves. As you all know, it's very good for health as well as for our hair!. Today let me tell you something about how I am using these leaves in my kitchen...
Brahmi Chatni.
Ingredients :
Brahmi leaves 10 to 12.
Fresh grated Coconut - 1cup (big cup)
Green chilly - 1
Cumin seeds - 1teaspoon.
Ginger - 1/2 inch long
Salt for taste.
Method...
Grind all the above ingredients to a fine paste using a mixer, adding a little water. This chutney is a very good combination with Idli or Dosa, especially Neerdosa. We can also have it with a porridge of Red or boiled rice which we call Ganji here!.
Thambli!
After grinding this if we add a cup or two of curd or Buttermilk to this, along with a seasoning of curry leaves in coconut oil, then it is called Thambli and is good to have with white rice...
We have planted Brahmi in our garden and have these leaves in plenty here. The above pics were taken using my smartphone Honor at our Garden..
